Pennridge On Winning Streak

Entering the playoffs Pennridge High School is on an eight game winning streak. While credit usually shoots to what has been referred to as the two headed monster of Harrison Welch and A.J. Moyer, The Intelligencer recently anointed the teams defensive play as key. Indeed, with the rest of the team having few penalties, adding a smattering of goals, and smothering the opposing teams Pennridge has climbed the standings. They unabashedly play the trap and as scorer A.J. Moyer put it opposing teams, "... just didn't know what to do against the trap..."
