Holy Ghost Prep Blasphemy In The Times

The Courier Times recently wrote that part of the Roman Catholic faith was being served on a bun. What they meant to do was say once again how well Nick Seravalli and the entire Holy Ghost Prep hockey team is doing. HGP recently defeated up-and-coming Pennsbury High School 6-0 in what was perhaps the biggest game of the year in the LBCSHL. According to the score sheet the game never got out of hand for HGP as they tallied 2 goals a period. Although Pennsbury did outshoot them and once goalie Corey Chapin took the ice in the third period the scoring fest died out. Pennsbury is leading the LBCSHL but Holy Ghost Prep is a true AAA team, and as such it is no wonder that they could out muscle the Falcons who play more of a finesse game and rely heavily on their top line. Holy Ghost Prep is a team that obviously is going in the right direction as a program and one hopes they can sustain it over time, but frankly, despite the loss, so is Pennsbury.
