LBCSHL Finals
Roman Catholic is set to play Holy Ghost Prep in the LBCSHL finals. HGP have been a LBCSHL dynasty winning four of the last five titles. RC bested HGP to start the season but both teams changed directions from there with HGP winning 11 of their next 13 games to finish 15-7-0 while Roman finished the season with back to back losses against Father Judge and Pennridge High School to finish 12-7-3. Moreover, the teams are a study in opposites as HGP sports five of the top fifteen LBCSHL scorers and league leader Nicholas Seravalli, whereas Roman has only two scorers located at the tail end of that list. Roman plays a more defensive style allowing less goals than HGP and was simply described as the Bucks County Currier Times as being "stingy." The difference between their playing styles seems to balance these teams out as HGP scored .73 more goals a game but Roman's defense has allowed .54 less goals a game.
