Marple-Newtown Bulletin

A full feature is being offered as a valentine to the Marple-Newtown High School ice hockey club in The Bulletin. The A level program is covered in detail including their tough schedule, their reliance on head blueliner Matt Taxin, and the teams emergence as perennial contender since Head Coach Buzz Wienckowski took the helm. Coach Wienckowski compared the teams schedule to Big East basketball stating a tough schedule strengthens a team and noted that they expect to make a mark in the Flyers Cup this year.
